HR Junior Executive - Generalist

As our HR Junior Executive - Generalist, you are mainly responsible for supporting the HR Department in planning good compensation schemes and managing an ever growing pipeline of workers interested in joining Nimbus.

Job Duties:

  • Manage and be responsible for the recruitment and selection of crew level positions (job postings, conduct interviews, and onboarding of new employees);
  • Maintain and update crew level employment records;
  • Maintain and update candidate database;
  • Be in charge of the application and renewal of work passes (Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permits);
  • Assist with the timely and accurate monthly submissions to the CPF Board;
  • Assist with the timely and accurate submission of IR8A, IR21 and/or other employee income tax related submissions to IRAS;
  • Download and retain monthly payment receipts from CPF Board, MOM, IRAS and other government agencies relating to employee matters in their relevant folders and assist with their timely submission to the Finance Department for timely bookkeeping reconciliation;
  • Ensure accurate calculation of salary components, such as overtime, monthly allowances, employee expense claims on twice-a-month basis, in accordance to the Company’s remuneration policy;
  • Attend to enquiries from employees regarding the Company’s HR policies;
  • Accurately update and maintain all employee leave records;
  • Spearhead other ad hoc employee related matters such as work injury claims, insurance renewals etc.;
  • Ensure all training requirements are met and liaise with training agencies, making arrangements for employees to participate in the necessary training and development programs;
  • Administer crew level employees’ performance appraisals and confirmation of employment review processes with the relevant hiring managers;
  • Assist with any other ad hoc duties which may be assigned by the Director from time to time.

What skills do I need?

  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and within tight deadlines.
  • Verbal and written fluency in the English language required.
  • Verbal and written fluency in Mandarin preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
